Yesterday we got the sheep seared. This morning they were wanting to stay fairly close to the barn. With no coat it's a whole new ball game. It's supposed to be 80 this afternoon so that will help. The lambs finally found their Mom's, hard to do when they look so different. I don't know if my girls are pets or livestock, I vote for pets. My favorite ones have names. Piggy had a fever earlier ad her wool was starting to fall off, they slip their woll after a fever. She looks really good now. She is the Grandma sheep, old as the hills but had triplets in April. We don't lamb till later cause our one barn isn't much count. My husband keeps saying we will get rid of them but he will go before the sheep. Besides they are a whole lot more personable.
